School Awareness Program on NCD

On 12th September 2025, Holos Healthcare Foundation conducted a School Awareness Program on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) at Baruipur High School, located in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas. The initiative aimed to educate young students about the growing burden of NCDs such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and obesity, which are increasingly affecting all age groups, including youth.

The program engaged 60 students through interactive sessions, presentations, and open discussions led by healthcare professionals and educators. Topics included the importance of a healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and early detection. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to preventive health education and community empowerment, nurturing healthy habits from a young age to combat the rise of lifestyle-related diseases in future generations.
