School awareness program on NCD

On 30th August 2024, Holos Healthcare Foundation conducted a School Awareness Program on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) at Bahuru Girl’s High School, located in Bahuru, Jaynagar. The initiative was designed to educate students about the increasing prevalence of NCDs such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases, many of which are linked to unhealthy lifestyle habits formed early in life.

A total of 94 students participated in the program, which featured informative sessions, interactive discussions, and practical tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The students learned about the importance of balanced nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, and regular health check-ups. Holos Healthcare Foundation remains committed to spreading awareness and preventive health education, equipping the younger generation with the knowledge to lead healthier, more informed lives.
